Green Ship Recycling

We went green with a vision to be the largest as well as the greenest ship recycling yard of India and hence in the year 2015, we were the first ship breaker in Alang to receive the ClassNK certificate.

Our green ship recycling services are specific to the Hong Kong Convention of sustainable ship recycling which is certified by ClassNK, Japan.

We were the 1st yard of Alang to be audited by EU-SRR ( European Union Ship Recycling Regulation).

We have made further modifications to our facility since the EU-SRR audited our yard, wherein we have heavily invested in our infrastructure by concreting full backyard and the front-yard. To minimize the pollution, we have brought cutting edge equipments in our yard which ensure safety and environmental protection.

With 67,500 sq. meter of green recycling back yard or a tertiary cutting zone in Alang, our productivity increases by leaps in the ship breaking business.

We have impeccable waste management system to eliminate risks of harmful & hazardous waste.

  • Identifying, grading and marking risk prone zones and decks.
  • Identifying and marking hazardous materials.
  • Safe removal of asbestos and other hazardous material from the ship.
  • Asbestos abatement unit for onshore decontamination.
  • In-house Hazmat expert certified by class as an HSE Officer.

We have a front yard of 10,818 sq. meters constructed on impermeable flooring that can recycle upto 2 VLCC and 1 Panamax vessel at any given time. Additionally, we have the biggest backyard of approx. 67,500 sq. meters. In Alang, India built on impermeable flooring.
